Milan, September 4, 2023 - In an effort to promote and develop sustainable mobility in the Italian territory, the Ludoil Group has established EOS S.r.l. (hereafter EOS, EOS Mobility, or the Company).

As part of the green holding company Luce S.p.A., which serves as the strategic outpost of the Group in the energy transition, EOS takes on the role of Charging Point Operator (CPO), providing charging infrastructure at the Group's service stations.

In its capacity as CPO, EOS will not only be responsible for installing charging points but will also engage in O&M of the charging stations, and expanding the charging infrastructure by installing new points in strategic locations, such as high-traffic service stations.

"EOS is born with the aim of integrating cutting-edge and reliable electric mobility solutions into Ludoil Group's traditional fuel and biofuel offerings. By 2025, our service stations will evolve from the typical configuration of vehicle-focused refueling points to spaces dedicated to people, reimagined and carbon-free," stated Francesco Rossi Guarnera (in the opening photo), CEO of EOS and Head of Renewables for the Ludoil Group.

In just a few weeks, the Company has already put the first 15 charging stations into operation and has planned additional investments to install approximately 250 more in the early months of 2025. Each charging point will be equipped with integrated solar systems in the service station canopies, with the goal of generating renewable electric power to charge vehicles during the charging process, ensuring a fully sustainable environmental experience.

EOS has also established an O&M department to initiate partnership projects, allowing facility operators outside the Ludoil network to request the installation of EOS-branded charging stations at their locations. They will also have the opportunity to use software that streamlines and optimizes the management of charging operations, both administratively and in terms of customer interaction.

With the introduction of EOS Mobility and in alignment with Ludoil's new Strategic Plan, the Group aims to provide resources and expertise to promote sustainable models, contributing to the country's energy transition from a systemic perspective.
